The Bigboy Thunderbolt 4 to USB 4 SSD Enclosure enables M.2 NVMe SSD drives used as a stylish and high-performance portable drive. It features a USB 4 Type-C interface that can deliver 40Gbps bus width. Thanks to the ASM2464 chip, it is compatible with Thunderbolt 3/4 and supports PCIe and USB Dual Tunnels.

Multi Protocol Support

The Bigboy Thunderbolt drive enclosure is compatible with multiple transmission protocols and interfaces. It offers wide adaptability. Supports USB 4 / Thunderbolt 3 / Thunderbolt 4 with a transfer rate of up to 40Gbps. Offers a maximum bus speed of 20Gbps when used with the USB 3.2 Gen 2X2 20G protocol, 10Gbps when used with the USB 3.2 Gen 2 10G (USB 3.1 10G) protocol and 5Gbps when used with the USB 3.2 Gen 1 5G (USB 3.0)

*Note: USB Type-C to Type-C (Thunderbolt 3/4) cable is provided with the product. For use with products with USB Type-A connection only, a USB Type-A to Type-C cable must be supplied separately.

 

NVMe M.2 SSD Drive Support

Designed for use with M Key and B+M Key NVMe SSD drives, the Bigboy Thunderbolt drive enclosure can be used with 80mm long M.2 2280 SSD drives. It also supports drives with 8TB capacity. Deliver transfer speeds more than 3x the speed of ordinary USB NVMe (10Gbps) drive enclosures.
Not compatible with M.2 SATA and M.2 PCIe-AHCI drives.

 

 

Robust and Durable

Internal and external cooling

The all-aluminum body provides excellent heat dissipation. The Thermal Pads applied on the SSD drive and the aluminum body structure ensure that the heat is quickly dissipated and the internal temperature is reduced. It helps the drive to operate without performance loss.

 

 

 

 

 

Easy Installation and Operation

Installing the drive in the enclosure is very easy. With the included screwdriver, the case screws are removed and the drive is inserted into the case. Once the SSD is installed, it is ready to use as a portable drive. Plug and Play support does not require additional hardware driver installation.

Thanks to the ASM2464 chip, can be used with systems with USB 3.2 20G, USB 3.2 10G, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 interfaces in addition to the Thunderbolt 3/4 interface.
