Bigboy 4 Port NVMe M.2 2280 SSD PCIe 4.0 x16 Expansion Card

Bigboy 4-Slot M.2 NVMe SSD PCIe x16 converter unit allows up to 4 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD drives to be used with the highest performance in any system with a compatible (x16) slot. It is designed for systems without M.2 slots or for users who need a high-speed M.2 SSD drive.

It offers high performance for image and video processing, cloud applications, data collection and similar large data processing applications. Design compatible with 2U systems. Support for 4 drives is only available on motherboards with PCIe Bifurcation/PCIe Split function. This function may not be available on all motherboards. Please refer to the motherboard manual or the manufacturer’s website for motherboard support. For motherboards without PCIe Bifurcation/PCIe Split function, only 1 of the drives can be used.

Compatible with 2U Systems

It can also be used in 2U systems with its low-profile mounting plate. Suitable for use in servers thanks to the high speed and stability offered by the x16 connection interface.

Supports up to 4 Drives

Can be used with 4 M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 drives. Supports RAID 0,1,5,10 configurations depending on the number of drives used.

High Quality components

Drive safety and data integrity are ensured with overload protection, high voltage protection, leakage protection, circuit protection functions and power management IC Module.
3.3 V and 12V dual voltage power supply. This provides the power required for SSD drives with high power consumption.

Supports 2280 NVMe drives

Only compatible with M.2 2280 NVMe SSD drives with M Key notch structure. Not compatible with PCIe SSD and dual notch B and M Key SATA SSD drives. Compatible drives include Kingston KC3000, FURY Renegade, Samsung 990 Pro, 980 Pro

Cooling

Aluminum heatsink on both sides and air slots on the PCB keeps the temperature of the drives is always low.

Ultimate Performance with PCIe 4.0 x16

The PCIe 4.0 x16 connection interface is used for full performance operation of high-speed NVMe M.2 SSD drives. 64Gbps bandwidth allows up to 4 M.2 NVMe SSD drives to operate simultaneously at peak performance.

Support up to 4 drives with software RAID/Soft RAID

Can be used with motherboards with PCIe 4.0×16 slots and PCIe channel splitting function (PCIe Bifurcation/PCIe Split). Software/Soft RAID configuration can be controlled under the operating system.

Example BIOS settings: x4x4x4x4 with 4 drives, x8x8 with 2 drives
Some compatible motherboard models:ROG Rampage VI Extreme, ROG Rampage VI Apex, ROG Strix X299-XE Gaming, ROG Strix X299-E Gaming, Prime X299-Deluxe, Prime X299-A, TUF X299 Mark 1, TUF X299 Mark 2. For motherboard support, please refer to the motherboard manual or the system manufacturer’s website.
